Bought McKillans for my pressure washer and really enjoyed the automatic quick connections. The quality and extra gaskets really made it a product I wanted to buy again. So when my wife asked for a quick connect for the garden hose, I was happy to buy from McKillans again. I highly recommend adding these into your life. You won’t regret it.
I ordered two additional sets of the McKillans Automatic Garden Hose Quick Connects for my other garden hoses after purchasing the Automatic M22-14mm Quick Connect Kit. What an improvement over the regular brass quick connects I have used at my house for years. Being able to make connections one-handed is a real convenience and a time-saver!
These fittings are no joke ! Very heavy duty, very heavy material, they feel ahead of their time. Like where the heck have these things been my whole life ! Super easy to install, the threads are very precise and smooth so you can guarantee a resistance free threading onto your hose/connectors. I just torqued them down hand tight, then a little snugging with some pliers with a strip of rubber covering the connectors….don’t want to scratch or mar them during installation. Connectors didn’t leak upon testings with water running through the hose. Connecting/Detaching them is a bit addicting I must say haha, due to the auto connect feature, makes it so fun. Looking forward to purchasing other products soon !
The automatic QD are so much better than the Garden hose version, only wish it came with 3 sets per box. Very nice quality of stainless fittings.

Just installed but love the concept of a quick release for my garden hose.
First ones I bought were some Plastic and Brass ones off the internet they lasted about a week before they started leaking so I wrapped Teflon tape around all the threaded parts and that also lasted about a week I ended throwing them in the trash and put yours in their place and what a difference I wish I would have found you guys first
This is my second order and I thought I was ordering the same thing until it arrived with 5 pieces instead of the 6 I got for the same price.
Have not installed yet on my power washer but they look top quality and should make using the power washer easier.
I love the product but this is my second order and they cost the same but instead of 6 pieces in the first order and 5 in the second was not what I expected but it was shown 5 in the advertisement but I wasn’t paying attention
Screwed it onto my water nozzle, and it is still leaking water. I even went as far as changing out the silicone rubber washer, and it is still leaking.

I’ve used brass quick connects in the past & while the are quite nice when compared to no quick connects. These McKillans are brand new so I’m not sure how they will hold up over time, however they absolutely feel premium! I did use Teflon tape so I’m not sure if that is what’s preventing any leakage whatsoever or the product itself. But there’s 0 dripping. Seems to be 0 loss in pressure. And they easily lock using only 1 hand. So far, I’d issue a bonus 6th star if I could. If the hold up, definitely worth the price!

Working out great, really quick and easy to hook up hose from house to my wash cart for the cars.
My mom can't manage standard quick connects, so this makes life easier for her to be able connect and disconnect hoses.

If you have arthritis in your hands the automatic quick connects are wonderful. I use them on my filtration system and hose connections for my motorhome.

Solid connections and well built. In full disclosure, I was disappointed to see the Made in China stamps. I need another fitting and noticed quite a few identical looking fittings on Amazon. I always look for Made in America products, and conversely, do my best to avoid Chinese made products, especially when using any product for food or water consumption. Well built, no leaks, solid connections. Thank you.
Great product. No leaks between the quick connections. Good swivel action to avoid kinks in hose. Will be buying more for my pressure washer.

It's great! I connected it to my pressure washer—it was very easy to connect and disconnect.
I do like the automatic connects a lot. I didn't notice an option to purchase the male or females individually, as you may need more females connects for sprinklers, nozzles, etc, and may or may not need more than 2 female ends (for multiple hoses, wall mounted power washers, etc.)
These are best quick connects I own. I am slowly phasing out the use of other brass and plastic quick connects in favour of using these Automatic Garden Hose Quick Connects. They are fairly priced, aesthetically pleasing, well designed and built, as well as easy to use and dependable. I have never regretted buying anything from McKillans.
